Family Second

Recently I just learned how close my family really is with one another and not just my immediate one but also my extended. I have over 150 people in the "Dimapasok Clan" and it's unfortunate that we're all spread all over Los Angeles or Orange County. It's rare when we all come together for a party or gathering especially around Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years time. We can never decide on whose house or venue to host it at. I'm going off topic but for the past couple of months I have been inviting some of my family to church and every Sunday afterwards we always go out to a family luncheon or picnic at the park. And yesterday I was spending time with my five cousins down in Hacienda Heights and for 3 hours straight we were just watching 1000 Ways to Die and playing this Pokemon board game. I haven't done anything like this for a long time which is exactly why it's a big deal for me just spending quality time with my younger cousins. I love them so much and now I understand what people mean when they say, "God first, family second, friends third, and yourself last..."
